Dillish Pearl Mathews, the winner of the recently concluded Big Brother Africa The Chase celebrated her birthday yesterday and her family and friends came out to celebrate with her. In the mix was her boyfriend Steven (who bought her a brand new car as a birthday gift, pictured right), mum, siblings and her father, who she said on BBA she'd never met before. A meeting between the seven governors of the new Peoples Democratic Party faction, and members of the House of Representatives has ended after fighting broke out.

The governors, alongside the chairman of the faction, Abubakar Baraje, met first with senate president, David Mark. A follow up meeting at the House of Representatives with Speaker Aminu Tambuwal, and members of the House, degenerated into chaos with supporters of the Bamanga Tukur-led PDP jeering at remarks made by Mr Baraje.

The chaos soon escalated after two members, Dagogo Peterside and Henry Ofongo, from Rivers and Bayelsa states respectively, went up against each other.

Mr. Baraje told Mr. Mark that President Goodluck Jonathan must give up his ambition for a new term. (Source: Pemium Times)

28 yr old woman uses fake baby bump to smuggle 2 kilos of cocaine

According reports by AFP, a Toronto woman who used a fake baby bump to try to smuggle two kilograms of cocaine was arrested yesterday September 11th at Bogota airport by Colombian police.

28-year-old Tabitha Leah Ritchie, identified as a social worker, was stopped while trying to board an Air Canada flight in Bogota, Colombia after an inspector noticed that her belly was unusually cold and hard. Airport security discovered a false belly made of latex taped to her body and they found 2 kilograms of cocaine. Record shows that Ms Richie arrived in Colombia on Aug. 6.

The Nollywood star actress, who usually plays mother roles in her movies, shared the photos on her Facebook page recently and said her weight loss has nothing to do with ill heath as some people who were amazed by her new look insinuated. Ngozi said the weight loss was just from the need to be healthy.

Teenage stowaway gets scholarship from Edo State Governor

I'm sure by now you all know who Daniel Oikhena is. (Refresh your memory HERE). Daniel and the the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, George Uriesi (pictured right) paid a courtesy visit to Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole yesterday Wednesday Sept. 11th.

Governor Oshiomhole said the government will support Daniel by sending him to one of the top schools in the state. He said:

“Without meaning to encourage anyone else, we decided to support him by sending him to one of the top secondary schools in Edo State that is owned by the Government. The reason for opting for a boarding school is that we think that there is need to closely watch him which his parents could not do. He is an intelligent young man with uncommon challenges, but one that has a vision. We had him examined by people who should know and the result confirmed that he is normal"

The Nollywood sensation attended the anticipated show which took place at the Forum, London, UK with her hubby, Capt. Matthew Ekeinde.

For the event, the movie star decided to rock a feathered pink dress which features a dramatic skirt and a sexy cut-out on the back.

Opting for full-on 90s glamour, Omosexy styled the piece by Roooi, with gold stud earrings, a gold necklace and a gold bracelet. An elegant up do, smokey eyes and neutral pout completed the look.

P.S Omotola also sang at the event. Hmm…Now that’s what we call a must hear moment.
