Pope Francis first Easter Mass

Pope Francis used his first Easter Sunday address to call for peace in the world and appealed for a diplomatic solution to the crisis on the Korean peninsula.

In his first 'Urbi et Orbi' - to the city and the world - message, Francis also called for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, an end to the civil war in Syria, and political solutions to conflicts in several African countries.

The source is also smart to point out that Kanye has a new single coming out titled, “I Am a God,” so blasphemy isn’t really an obstacle for him: “I know it is shocking, but let’s remember that this is a guy that is naming his new CD, ‘I Am A God.’ So it makes perfect sense that the child of a god would be named Christ with a K.”

Maleke Appointed Edo Governor's SSA On Entertainment Matters

The governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole has appointed an up and coming comedian, Maleke as his Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Entertainment Matters.

Maleke is also a singer well known for his hit single 'Low Waist'. He is fondly called the Miniwana Master by many.

Maleke has now joined the likes of entertainers in Nigeria who are serving on government or the other in Nigeria.

More recent is the appointment of Bob Manuel Ndokwu as an SSA. Nkiru Sylvanus is also serving a government in Imo State just like RMD is doing as a Commissioner in Delta State.

Nigeria with a great sense of humour and creativity, Oga at the top, is out. Quite similar to the viral ‘Oga at the top’ quote, the movie features popular Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, also known as Osuofia.

Although the viral quote stopped trending on Twitter after a week of dominance, Nigerians put their creativity to test as they made T-shirts, mugs, songs and jokes about the error made by the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Obafaiye Shem, during an interview on Channels Televison.

The source revealed to me exclusively that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.

"Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn't a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn't increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid." The source said

I hear in the new contract being drafted, EME will not take a dime from Wizkid's international deals. When they start working together again.

Few days ago, talented rapper, Naeto C welcomed his first child. The mother of the child, Nicole, gave birth to the baby in the United States of America (USA).

A happy Naeto C, who couldn't hide his joy of the gift from God, sent a thank you message to everyone one that congratulated him.

He posted, "Thanks to everyone for all the messages, words aren't honestly enough to express this moment. It's ironic especially for someone like myself who is used to putting words together maybe later, but right now, I’m just thanking God.

Son Of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Oluwole, Dead At 70

Oluwole Awolowo, the second son of late Yoruba sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo is dead. He died today after a brief illness accordding to his sister, Tokunbo Awolowo.

Saharareporters confirmed that Mr. oluwole died in London hospital where he had been receiving treatment. Until his death Mr. Awolowo was the publisher of the Tribune newspapers.

He was 70 years old.

Sheraton Hotel Ikeja roof collapse during a conference

The advertising body of Nigeria were having a conference at the banquet hall of Sheraton hotel in Ikeja this afternoon when they noticed severe leaking in the roof. The attendees had to move to a separate part of the room, but less than a minute later, the roof caved in and guests had to rush out of the conference room out of fear...
