The revolutionary Babykeeper Basic is an infant seat that can be hung up on the go.
It frees anxious parents up for a few moments from carrying their child to try on a new dress, wash their hands or get changed before a family swim. The easy-to-use device, which is suitable for six to 18-month-olds, hooks over cubicle walls and has a simple harness to keep the baby securely in the carrier.
Its two large metal hooks are covered in a safety webbing and lined with a non-slip material to make sure it stays in place.
Ms King, from Seattle, US, said: 'I thought of the Babykeeper when my first child was about six months old and I went shopping a lot.
'I always found it difficult to know what to do with my daughter when I needed to use the toilet or even a fitting room and I did not have a stroller with me.
'I realised there was no safe and sanitary place to put her and thought there ought to be a solution to this problem.'It would be portable so that the mother could always have it when she needed it. I briefly toyed with the idea of making something myself, but as a busy new mum running my own home sewing business it went on the backburner.
'Then Elisa had a few children of her own and I happened to mention the idea to her and she loved it.
'We then decided that we should do something about it to make every mother's life just a little easier, and so the Babykeeper was born.'
The sisters have been blown away by glowing feedback about the Babykeeper Basic, which is suitable for babies weighing up to 35 pounds.
Ms King added: 'The Babykeeper Basic is small enough to take with you wherever you go.
'For most people it isn't possible to always have someone else along every time you need to go to the store and the Babykeeper solves this problem.
'From our experience, it is a toddler's job to touch everything and take every opportunity to do exactly what they want. If you want to keep them off the floor in a public loo, and out of your neighbours' stall, we can't think of a better way to accomplish this. 'Plastic, fold down seats for youngsters that you can find in some public restroom stalls are few and far between.
Priced at $39.99 (£26) on mommysentials.com the Babykeeper also works as a harness in a shopping trolley to stop children from falling.
