Elizabeth Taylor surpasses Michael Jackson as ‘top earning dead celebrity’

American business magazine Forbes has released its list of the ‘Top Earning Dead Celebrities’ with English-American star actress Elizabeth Taylor fielded as the top earner.
With an earning of $210m, Liz Taylor beat her best friend, the late Michael Jackson who topped the list last year with $145.
Rock star Elvis Presly follows in third place with $55m. Reggae star Bob Marley also makes the list, landing in fifth place with a total earning of $17m
Liz Taylor passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The screen goddess who dazzled the whole world with her talent, beauty and posh Hollywood lifestyle, died of ‘congestive heart failure’.
