Protesters were seen chanting 'God is Great' near the shopping complex in Riffa, about 12 miles south of the capital Manama.
The demonstrators were cleared before Miss Kardashian appeared late today.
Earlier, she posted glowing remarks about Bahrain on her Twitter account, calling it 'the prettiest place on earth.'
Miss Kardashian was in Kuwait earlier this week to open another branch of the shop.
The reality star was seen slurping away on a calorie-laden milkshake at the Millions Of Milkshakes store opening at the Avenues Mall in Kuwait City on Thursday - as her legal problems raged on back home in Los Angeles.
