Celebrities tweet their festive holiday snaps

As stars busily tweeted their festive snaps throughout the holiday, it was fast becoming a battle of the best dinner table.

And it seems that the Kardashians, who are known for not doing things in halves, were just one of the clans to come out on top.
Youngest sister Kylie tweeted a snap of their decadent table, which featured trompe l'oeil dinner plates, crocodile place mats, fine crystal wine glasses and pretty posies of white roses.
It all came on a velveteen table cloth, which matched the meanwhile not-so-stylish chairs placed around the table.
'Happy Thanksgiving From The Jenner/Kardashian Family <3', she wrote in an accompanying caption on the social networking site.

The famous family were dining at Khloe's home, which she shares with husband Lamar Odom, ahead of the 28-year-old's hosting duties on the live X Factor USA show later in the evening.

Meanwhile, singer Pink knows all about raising a glass and getting the party started.
And on Thursday the 33-year-old singer was seen doing just that as she celebrated Thanksgiving with her loved ones.
The songstress was just one of many celeb tweeting snaps from inside their homes - and revealed a picture of her ornately decorated table.

Pink, who has a 17-month-old daughter, Willow Sage with husband Carey Hart, looked well prepared for her banquet.

She tweeted a message to her fans, wishing them a happy Thanksgiving and explained: 'That's what I did yesterday:) with a little help from my friends:) happy gratitude day.'
Other celebs to have tweeted included P Diddy, who posted a picture of his table, which was more reminiscent of an expensive restaurant.
The slick settings featured plenty of candles and vases dotted around containing red roses.

The chef: Whether or not P Diddy actually cooked the turkey himself is unclear, he does however seem more than happy to pose with it

Meanwhile, he had a battle on his hands with fellow rapper Nick Cannon sharing his spread, set up at the home he shares with songstress Mariah Carey. 
'It's about to go down at the crib!' he wrote, alongside an image of the large yet intimate and elegant table settings.
Later in the evening he posted a cute snap of his twin son Moroccan sitting at the piano, hitting away at the keys.

Other celebs to have tweeted included Julianne Hough, who posted a snap of herself peeling potatoes in the kitchen.

Chloe Moretz, 15, posted a photo of a delicious turkey fresh out of the oven, while former Jersey Shore star Snooki tweeted a pic of her and her soon-to-be three-month-old son Lorenzo as she enjoyed the holiday atmosphere.

The MTV favourite, real name Nicole Polizzi, later posted a picture of the bumper festive spread she had laid on for the holiday.

Her Jersey Shore castmate JWoww was having a quieter time, with just her and fiance Roger Matthews seated at a huge table.
The pair saw their home flooded during Hurricane Sandy and have been frantically repairing the damage in time to celebrate the holidays at home.
Other celebs adding to the tweets include Conor Cruise, the son of Tom Cruise, who posted a snap of a turkey.

Meanwhile, Minnie Driver shared an image of a pie she had just cooked, adding to the stars getting handy in the kitchen on Thursday.
Also cooking up a storm was actress Milla Jovovocih, who shared her family's recipes for Thanksgiving.
Starting the previous day she tweeted as they prepared for the big day, brining their turkey overnight in salt water, making 'candied jams', her mom's 'famous cranberry sauce' and 'creamed corn'.

Meanwhile Taylor Swift was away from her family for the holiday, instead spending it in Japan on tour.
She wrote: 'Last night my band, crew, and I ate Japanese food and went around the table saying what we're thankful for. I could've gone on for an hour.'
And she tweeted a picture of herself and her cat Meredith, who travels the world with her, writing: 'I'm thankful for friendships like this.'
